Maïa Davies is a multi-disciplined creative artist and is releasing solo music work in English for the first time in 2023/24. Hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Maïa first burst on to the International music scene as the creative force and main front-person for the all-Female band Ladies of The Canyon, who released two albums on Warner Music globally.

She has spent time since becoming a very in-demand song composer/co-writer and has penned several Top 10 tracks for artists such as Monster Truck (Juno-nominated song), Mother Mother, Serena Ryder, Jill Barber and more. An early co-write with Serena Ryder, the track “Sing Me A Song”, was recorded by Serena Ryder and William Prince and released in 2022. It remains a staple of both of their live performance repertoire.

Maïa has also become in demand as a Producer, having done work for Jill Barber and Mikhail Laxton and is a member of the Women in Production team facilitated and sponsored by the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.

She has released two successful solo albums in French and is fully bi-lingual.

Her new solo work is a conceptual gem – each track has been Co-Produced by Maïa and another noted Canadian with each track recorded in a different Canadian city/studio.

The full album will release in Spring 2024.
