Megan Nash

Juno Nominated for their 2017 album “Seeker”, Megan Nash (they/them), returned in 2021 with the album “Soft Focus Futures” – a project fully conceived, performed and co-produced with their long-time backing bandmates the Best of Intentions (also known as Bears in Hazenmore).

The album was a huge progression from the more Roots-based Seeker and contained more Alternative- leaning tracks such as the singles Coffee, Quiet and the epic multi-tiered track Chew Quietly / Clean Slate whose accompanying video received a Western Canadian Music Award for Best Video in 2022. It is an incredible one shot, one-take creative gem.

Megan has also been named Alternative Artist of the Year at the 2022 Saskatchewan Music Awards, Rock/Pop Artist of the Year in 2021, and has been nominated several times for Western Canadian Music Awards.

Megan has performed at many International and Canadian Festivals including The Great Escape (Brighton, UK), Focus Wales (Wrexham,Wales), Tallinn Music Week (Tallinn, Estonia), Westway Lab (Guimaraes, Portugal), MerleFest (NC, USA), Reeperbahn Festival (Hamburg, Germany), and is a frequent performer at Gateway Festival (Bengough, Saskatchewan) and Folk On The Rocks (Yellowknife, NWT).

They have graced the stage opening shows in their native Saskatchewan for the likes of Lucinda Williams and Serena Ryder to name a couple!

For Fans of Terra Lightfoot, Begonia, Sharon Van Etten and more.
