Mikhail Laxton’s debut full-length album, simply titled “Mikhail Laxton” released world-wide on August 18, 2023. 12 tracks that tells Mikhail’s story in many expressions – from songs about loss of close family, to songs about losing himself to songs about love and finally songs about him finally finding himself and enjoying happiness. Truly a mini-film in musical form.

The album was Produced by highly-respected Toronto-based Producer/multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Aaron Goldstein and features co-writes with Terra Lightfoot, Dan Hosh (Producer for Wild Rivers and The Arkells to name a few) and Mikhail’s close pal and often-times backup singer Jessica Pearson (Jessica Pearson and The East Wind).

Songs from the album have received airplay at noted outlets worldwide, including ABC Country and ABC Grass Roots (Australia), Absolute Country (UK), BBC Scotland, CBC Radio 1 (Canada) and SiriusXM’s “NorthAmericana” channel.

Mikhail’s previously released (2021) EP “Real” ,explored more of Mikhail’s Soul/R&B side with the exception of the now almost classic track “Wasting Our Time” that set the tone for the more Americana/Country songs found on the full-length album.
